As we reached the middle of the semester, Week 9 gave our students a wonderful opportunity to show what they know. During midterm week, classrooms across the school were filled with energy, focus, and creativity as students demonstrated their learning in a variety of assessments and projects designed to reflect both knowledge and creativity.
In Literature and Language Arts, students presented reading projects and reflected on how their favorite books connect to real life. Their growing confidence in using English to express ideas clearly was truly inspiring. In Social Studies, learners explored topics ranging from communities and geography to cultural celebrations, explaining how people work together and learn from one another.
Our Science students researched a topic and planned out hands-on experiments just like real scientists. In Chinese, students practiced reading comprehension and writing, showing skills in both their native and foreign languages.
One of the highlights of the week was our peer teaching activity, where older students had the chance to teach and guide younger classmates. They showed kindness, leadership, and a true love of learning.
Midterm week is not only a time to measure progress but also to celebrate growth. We are proud of our students’ effort, curiosity, and determination. Together, we continue to build a school community where learning is active, meaningful, and shared. Let’s celebrate their achievements and look forward to the discoveries still to come.
