This winter, our 5-Day Photography Camp invited students to see the world through a new lens. Designed for curious beginners and budding photographers alike, the camp provided a fun, hands-on introduction to photography while encouraging creativity, confidence, and visual storytelling.
Over the course of five days, students explored the fundamentals of photography, including composition, lighting, perspective, and storytelling. Using age-appropriate cameras and equipment, campers learned how small adjustments—such as framing a shot or changing an angle—could completely transform an image. Each day combined short skill-building lessons with ample time to practice, experiment, and ask questions.
Winter offered a unique backdrop for photography, and students were encouraged to capture seasonal details both indoors and outdoors. From textures and patterns to portraits and action shots, campers learned to slow down and observe their surroundings in new ways. They were also introduced to basic photo selection and reflection skills, helping them understand why certain images stood out.
Collaboration and creativity remained at the heart of the camp. Students shared their work, offered positive feedback to peers, and built confidence in presenting their photographs. The week concluded with a mini showcase that celebrated each camper’s progress and highlighted their favorite images.
Overall, the Winter Photography Camp provided students with an opportunity to develop artistic skills, try something new, and enjoy a creative experience during the school break. No prior experience was required—just curiosity and enthusiasm.
