As the 6th grade homeroom teacher, I’ve seen a lot of hard work from students so far this semester. From tackling new concepts in class to supporting one another throughout the school day, our students have shown incredible dedication and growth. I’m proud of all the hard work so far, and it’s been a joy to watch each of them rise to the challenges of the year!
These past few weeks, our science classes were busy conducting hands-on experiments, and the excitement in the room was contagious! Students are not just reading about scientific concepts, they’re testing them, observing results, and asking thoughtful questions along the way. This kind of fun, real-world, hands-on learning is happening across campus, from interactive projects in other classes to collaborative activities that bring lessons to life. Be sure to check out the pictures included in this newsletter to see our young scientists in action!
We are getting closer to midterms, which will begin in weeks 8 and 9, and we are excited to see how much progress our students have made so far! With the effort and curiosity they’ve shown in these first five weeks, we know they are well-prepared for the road ahead. Thank you for your continued support at home; together, we’re setting our students up for success.
