Our young scientists are hard at work investigating how the world works through hands-on lab
experiments and active discovery! Here is a concise look at what each grade level has been exploring in
the classroom.
CLASSROOM TOPIC OVERVIEW
Grade 1 Force & Motion
Investigating how everyday pushes and pulls make objects move, stop, and change direction
through interactive experiments.
Grade 2 Sound & Energy
Discovering how physical vibrations create sound waves, and observing how changes in
movement alter pitch and volume.
Grades 3 & 6 Matter & Chemistry
Exploring solids, liquids, and gases, analyzing state changes, and examining how atoms and
molecules combine to form structures.
