Week 10 -Who Doesn’t Love Fridays?

Fridays have become a favorite highlight of the week for many of our Senior students—and it’s easy to see why! The day begins with our once-a-week World Language class, giving everyone a chance to explore new vocabulary, cultures, and communication skills. After that, students look forward to heading into club time, which brings everyone together for creativity, meaningful interaction, and engaging learning experiences. Whether it happens earlier in the day or later in the afternoon, the excitement for club activities always stays high.

It’s also great to see how many students are getting involved in sports. From pitching and batting out on the field, to basketball or high-energy volleyball matches (boys, watch out—the girls are holding their own!), students are showing real enthusiasm and school spirit. No matter the sport, it’s wonderful to see teamwork, confidence, and friendships growing stronger through physical activity at CTBC International School.

As a homeroom teacher, building strong, positive connections with Grades 10, 11, and 12 has been an absolute treat. Physical activity isn’t just fun—it helps students boost their energy, improve focus, and bring a more motivated mindset back into the classroom. Keep participating, keep growing, and keep supporting one another.

See you in the classroom—or out on the playing field—and remember to sharpen and shine!
